2. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:

"(i) For direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner on pay grade of Rs. 2000.

(ii) For direction to the Respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of constable.

(iii) For any other relief/reliefs entitled to the petitioner accordance with law."

3. Petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground in the Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 on Class IV post vide letter No. 630

Patna High Court CWJC No.10430 of 2020 dt.11-01-2022 2/2 dated 10.04.2017. The petitioner has not pointed out any provision of law that she is entitled to be appointed in the Grade Pay of Rs. 2000. That apart Apex Court time and again held that compassionate appointment is not a fundamental right so as to seek a particular post and pay. In the light of these facts and circumstances, the petitioner has not made out a case. Accordingly, writ petition stands dismissed.
