2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1193(C) of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) of the IPC (Section 85 of the BNSS, 2023).

3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with other co-accused persons are said to have abused and assaulted the complainant for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry of Rs. 10 lakh. It is further alleged that the petitioner had solemnized his second marriage.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner husband of the complainant. He is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. He has further submitted that Annexure-4 shows that the complainant's brother had received all the articles 10 years prior to the occurrence and after 10 years, the present case has been lodged.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate-1st Class, Patna City, Patna, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1193(C) of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./ 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
