JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-08-2022 Though the present writ petition was filed for grant of freedom fighter pension to the petitioner, however, since the petitioner has died during the pendency of the present writ petition, no cause of action survives inasmuch as the Respondent-Union of India has come out with a revised guideline vide letter dated 6.8.2014, issued by Director (FFR), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India wherein in Clause 1.5, it has been mentioned that no pension shall be sanctioned in the name of the freedom fighter after
