1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sikta P.S Case no.16 of 2025 registered under sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(B), 22(b), 23(b) and 29 of the NDPS Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, 6.85 kgs of ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No incriminating article has been recovered from the petitioner's possession. His case stands on a similar footing to that of coaccused Rakesh Kumar from whose possession allegedly 6.3 kgs of ganja was recovered and the said Rakesh Kumar has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 20.5.2025 passed in Cr.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35668 of 2025(2) dt.12-06-2025 2/2 Misc no.30572 of 2025. The petitioner is in custody since 6.2.2025 and has no antecedent under the NDPS Act.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the FIR, grant of bail to similarly situated co-accused vide aforesaid order dated 20.5.2025, the petitioner having remained in custody since 6.2.2025 and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sikta P.S Case no.16 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Judge, NDPS, Bettiah, West Champaran.
