2. This writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to select the petitioner on the post of Home Guard as he has better marks than those who have selected already but petitioner was not selected.
3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has appeared in the physical test and in the high jump he jumped 4ft and has been awarded only one marks whereas another candidate has also jumped 4 ft. but he has been awarded three marks.

Counsel for the State categorically states that the verification has been made from the original records and found that the alleged selected candidate who is at Sr. No. 63 has jumped 4.6 ft. in high jump and awarded three marks whereas the petitioner has jumped 4 ft. therefore, he has been awarded 1 marks.
5. In view of the aforesaid observation, it transpires to this Court that petitioner has no case. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed.
