2. A counter affidavit has filed by the State.

3. This is the third attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Bibhutipur P.S. Case No. 198 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 304B, 34 of the I.P.C.

4. Earlier the prayer of the petitioner was rejected on 08.05.2024 in Cr. Misc. No. 14912 of 2024, which reads as under:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, petitioner is the mother in law of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34499 of 2025(3) dt.30-01-2026 2/2 deceased. The marriage was solemnized on 05.05.2023 and the deceased has been killed for demand of dowry after torture.

4. Material has come during investigation to connect the petitioner with the crime. Petitioner is in jail since 24.11.2023.

5. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed. If the trial is delayed, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.

5. Thereafter, the order dated 05.10.2024 was passed by this Court by which the second attempt of the petitioner for grant of regular bail was dismissed.

6. It has been submitted by learned APP for the State that the trial is on the verge of conclusion and the statement of the accused is also recorded.

7. Considering the gravity of offence and the fact that a young woman of 25 years was killed by the accused persons, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
