The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376 (2)(G) and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have committed gang rape with the victim along with other accused persons. It is submitted that the petitioner is in jail for more than 41⁄2 years and the trial is pending for examination of the I.O. Considering the nature of allegations, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

The learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Patna is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within four
