The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Minapur P. S. Case No. 75 of 2020, dated 23.02.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30 (a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

On secret information that liquor has been kept in the house of one Rajeev Rai, a raid was conducted and 310.725 litres of liquor was found there. The F.I.R.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33064 of 2020(2) dt.09-03-2021 2/3 further discloses that the informant had received confidential information that the aforesaid liquor was brought by the petitioner and three others.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he has got no concern with the affairs of the aforesaid Rajeev Rai and there has been no recovery from him.

The petitioner does not have criminal antecedents.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Minapur P. S. Case No. 75 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438
