JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 05-01-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State through virtual court proceedings. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Panapur P.S. Case No. 108 of 2021 dated 09.06.2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 27 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10.06.2021 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is of recovery of a loaded pistol and a live cartridge of 7.66 KF from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that uncle
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45338 of 2021(2) dt.05-01-2022 2/2 of the petitioner is a retired S.I. with whom petitioner is having land dispute as a result of which he is being implicated in cases after cases.
Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 10.06.2021 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.-I, Saran at Chhapra in connection with Panapur P.S.
