The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No0. 9 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 396 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted that though the petitioner is not named in the first information report but his name has surfaced on the confessional statement made before the police by the co-accused which has no evidentiary value.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest/surrender before the learned counsel below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail
