The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Hilsa P.S. Case No.182 of 2020 registered under Sections 30(a) and 56(D) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant intercepted a motorcycle and apprehended two persons namely Kunal Kumar and Tuntun Prasad. Kunal Kumar and Tuntun Prasad disclosed that petitioner is also involved in illegal trade of liquor. On such, the house of the petitioner was searched but nothing was recovered from the house of the petitioner. Petitioner has got one criminal antecedent.

Taking into consideration the facts that name of the petitioner surfaced in the case in the statement of the apprehended accused persons but nothing has been recovered

No.34122 of 2020(2) dt.16-03-2021 2/2 from the house of the petitioner on being raided, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Nalanda(Biharsharif) in connection with Hilsa P.S. Case No.182 of 2020/G.R. No.1919 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
