The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 32 of 2020. A country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is accused in four cases of robbery. The petitioner is in custody since 02.02.2020.
Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner and his criminal antecedents, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail is refused. The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. If the trial is not concluded even after expiry of six months from
