This writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "For issuance of appropriate writ commanding and directing the respondents authorities specially Respondent No.-4 to pass appropriate order on the application of the petitioner dated 26-10-2021 it's remainder dated 06-12-2021 and last application dated 0903-2021 which have been kept pending by the Respondent No.-4, as after being acquitted in the criminal case the petitioner has filed his applications requesting therein for restoration of the P.D.S. license of the petitioner bearing No.-23 of 1985, which has been cancelled due to
Patna High Court CWJC No.9550 of 2022(3) dt.12-03-2024 2/3 the fact that a criminal case has been lodged vide Begusarai Nagar P.S. case No.- 88 of 2003 u/s 420, 467, 471, 120(B) / 34 of the IPC in which after trial the petitioner has been acquitted vide Judgment dated 18-09-2021 (Annexure-1)."

Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the P.D.S. license of the petitioner has been cancelled as the petitioner was involved in a criminal case that subsequently the petitioner has been acquitted of all charges and thereafter the petitioner has given a representation to the concerned authority for restoring the license to the petitioner.
4. Learned counsel has stated that even though he has given a representation on 06.12.2021 the same has not been considered by the authority till date. Therefore, learned counsel has stated that the directions may be issued to the authority concerned to disposed of the representation made by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

Per contra, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has stated that the representation given by the petitioner does not bear any signature or seal of the authority having received the same. Learned counsel has state that the petitioner may be directed to give a fresh representation along with the copy of the judgment dated 18.09.2021 passed in
Patna High Court CWJC No.9550 of 2022(3) dt.12-03-2024 3/3 Trial No. 1976 of 2021 (GR No. 534/2003), Nagar P.S. Case No. 88/2003 by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Begusarai and the authority may be directed to pass orders strictly in accordance with law.

Having regard to the above made submissions without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give a representation to the authority concerned ventilating his grievance along with the necessary documents within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
7. On receipt of the same, the authority concerned shall pass necessary orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereof. Any order passed shall be communicated to the parties.
8. With the above directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
