The case was lodged under sections 467, 468 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code vide Barhara P.S. Case No. 41 of 2013.

Petitioner is suspected to be a member of the gang involved in preparation of fake residential certificate. It is stated that the petitioner cooperated during the investigation. Co-accused Maharaj Kumar Razzak @ Maharaj Kumar @ Maharaj Kumar Rajak, who has similarly cooperated in the investigation, approached this Court for bail which was disposed of on 13.05.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 52301 of 2013. In the light of the said order, the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the case enabling him to approach the Court below and pray for bail.
