The petitioner has a grievance in relation to selection of a licensee for running a PDS shop at Barauli, Ward No. 10 in the district of Gopalganj. The selection was, apparently, done by a committee headed by the Collector of the district. Mr. N.K. Agrawal, learned Senior Counsel appearing

Patna High Court CWJC No.10562 of 2020(2) dt.11-01-2022 2/2 on behalf of the petitioner, after some argument, seeks permission to withdraw this application with a liberty to assail the decision of the selection committee and consequent grant of licence in favour of respondent No. 5 before appropriate/ statutory authority in accordance with law.

This application is accordingly disposed of with the liberty as sought for.

It goes without saying that if the petitioner makes an application within three weeks from today before the competent authority, the competent authority shall dispose of the same expeditiously.
