The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "For, issuance of an appropriate order, direction or writ for quashing order dated 07.04.2021 (Annexure-10) passed by the Collector Samastipur in Service Appeal (Gramin Awaas Sahayak) Case No. 480/2019, whereby and whereunder appeal preferred by petitioner against memo No.1958 dated 7.8.2019 passed by Deputy Development Commissioner, Samastipur, has been rejected and the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14328 of 2021(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/3 said order dated 07.08.2019 passed by the Deputy Development Commissioner, Samastipur has been affirmed.

(ii) For further issuance of an appropriate order, direction or writ for quashing memo No.1958 dated 07.08.2019 (Annexure-9) passed by Deputy Development Commissioner, Samastipur whereby and whereunder the selection/appointment of petitioner on the post of Gram Awaas Sahayak under Gram Sultanpur Ghataho, Panchayat, Block-Dalsinghsarai, DistrictSamastipur has been cancelled.

(iii) For further issuance of an appropriate order, direction or writ to reinstate the petitioner on the post of Gramin Awaas Sahayak with all consequential benefits under Gram Panchayat Sultanpur Ghataho, BlockDalsinghsarai, District-Samastipur."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of filing a civil suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances.
