The present petition has been filed for quashing of the notification contained in memo no. 664 dated 21.5.2022 issued by respondent no.4 whereby a committee for the regular functioning and protection of 'Shilhauri Shiv Mandir, Marhaura, Saran has been constituted in exercise of power under section 32 of the Bihar Hindu Religious Trust Act .

Learned Senior Counsel concedes that by the passage of the time, the matter has now become infructuous but at least the respondent authorities should be directed to take appropriate steps so that a proper committee of locals be constituted in a legal manner.

The respondents cannot have any objection to the said submission put forward by the learned Senior Counsel. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. It is expected that the respondent authorities shall see to it that a proper committee of eminent citizen is constituted so that the decision is/are taken in a proper manner. (Rajiv Roy, J) Ravi/- U
