2. The instant writ application has been filed for the following reliefs:- (i) For directing the respondents, particularly, the Controller of Examination, Bihar School Examination Board, Patna to consider and dispose of all the eight objections raised by the petitioner within a time bound period.

(ii) For direction upon the respondents to revise the petitioner's answer sheet based on the correct answer as per NCERT/ SCERT textbooks submitted along with the objection after allowing relief no.1. (iii) For any other relief(s) petitioner may be entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner appeared in the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test, 2025 (STET-2025) conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (hereinafter referred to as 'the Board') on 15.10.2025. It is submitted that the petitioner secured 54 marks out of 150, which was below the qualifying threshold. After publication of the result, the Board opened an online objection window enabling candidates to challenge the provisional answer key. The petitioner submitted objections in respect of eight questions through the online portal and also deposited the requisite fee of Rs.50/- per objection. It is contended that despite submission of the objections and payment of the prescribed fee, no decision has yet been communicated to the petitioner.

On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the Board submits that the Board entertains objections filed by candidates through the online portal and that a committee of experts has been constituted for examining such objections. Since the petitioner has already submitted his objections through the prescribed online mode, the same are liable to be considered by the competent authority.

5. Considering the stand taken by the parties, this

Patna High Court CWJC No.8559 of 2026(2) dt.23-06-2026 3/3 Court directs the authorities of the Board, particularly respondent no.5, to place the objections raised by the petitioner, along with the supporting materials and answers, before the Committee of Experts for appropriate consideration. Upon receipt of the opinion/recommendation of the Committee, a reasoned decision shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner within a period of fifteen days. In the event the objections are found to be justified, appropriate marks shall be awarded to the petitioner and a revised result shall be published forthwith, in accordance with law.

6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
