This present application has been filed for transfer of Divorce Case No. 197 of 2017 from Principal Judge, Family Court, Chhapra to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Siwan. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the marriage of the petitioner was solemnized on 30.11.2014 in Royal Hotel, Siwan as per Hindu rites and rituals. It is further submitted that after one week of marriage, her husband, his parents and brothers started torturing the petitioner. When she was staying in her matrimonial home, her husband and his family members did not provide food to the petitioner and tried to burn her by sprinkling kerosene oil on her body. Petitioner being an unemployed lady and she has no

Considering the difficult being faced by the petitioner in travelling to Chhapra to contest her case, this application for transfer is allowed. Divorce Case No. No. 197 of 2017 pending in the Court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chhapra to be transferred to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Siwan. The parties shall appear in the Court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Siwan and thereafter the proceeding will be conducted in the Court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Siwan. Let a copy of this judgment be communicated to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chhapra as well as to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Siwan for its compliance. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U
