2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 131 of 2023, lodged on 22.02.2023 under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. As per the prosecution, the allegation against the petitioner is that he was selected for the post of Agriculture Consultant in the Agriculture Department, but when his certificates were sent for verification, it was found that the said certificates had been tampered with.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is further submitted that the petitioner has not received any salary from the Agriculture Department and has already resigned from the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34188 of 2025(2) dt.27-06-2025 2/2 service. Counsel also submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 04.04.2025 and has clean criminal antecedent.

6. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the petitioner above named, be granted bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) as mentioned in Section 2(1) (d) of the BNSS, 2023 to the satisfaction of C.J.M., Lakhisarai, in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 131 of 2023, subject to the following conditions as laid down under Section 480(3) of the BNSS., as well as with other following conditions at the time of furnishing of bail bond:- (a) The petitioner shall produce substantial proof of his resignation from the service, and (b) The petitioner shall not appear in the examination on the basis of forged document in future.
