Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and under sections 3⁄4 of the DP Act.

Prosecution case in short is that the informant was subjected to cruelty by all the accused persons including the petitioners and they ousted her from the house for bringing Rs.5 lacs as dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34849 of 2019(2) dt.29-05-2019 2/2 petitioners are father in law, mother in law and brother in law of the victim having no concern with the affairs of the victim and her husband. The main allegation is against the husband of the victim. The allegation against the petitioners is general and omnibus.

Considering the facts of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest/surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in Rajoun Police Station Case No. 515 of 2018, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as condition that the petitioners shall fully co-operate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
