The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of coaccused. The petitioner also confessed his guilt when he was apprehended in another case and disclosed that it was he who snatched the scooter of the informant.

It is submitted that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and has not been put on test identification parade although he is in custody since 09.09.2014. Co-accused has already been enlarged on bail. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above
