Although a prayer for adjournment is being made but considering that there is no dispute that the dues of the petitioner towards ACP has already been paid to him as reflected from the order impugned at Annexure 5 following the order of this Court albeit in the year 2016, I am not inclined to interfere with the order passed by the Chief Engineer in refusing interest so demanded by the petitioner over the dues towards ACP.

The writ petition is disposed of.
