2. The present writ petition has been filed directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner till the vacant sanctioned Group-D post in Collectorate, Jamui.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an advertisement was published for preparing panel for appointment of Group-D post on 19.12.2010 in which the petitioner was found place at serial No. 1630.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits and raised

Patna High Court CWJC No.2971 of 2018(4) dt.09-10-2023 2/2 preliminary objection that Govt. Of Bihar has framed a new Rule namely Bihar Government Servant Grievances Redressal Rule, 2019 in which complaint can be referred relating to all matters relating to service and service benefits including relating to appointment before the Service Grievance Redressal Officer.

5. Upon perusal of the said rule namely Bihar Govt. Servant Grievances Redressal Rule, 2019, it appears that Govt. of Bihar through its General Administration Department vide notification No. 7528 dated 03.06.2019, framed the said rule in which formation of Service Grievance Redressal Officer has been made.

6. In this view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to avail the remedy in the above said rule.
