Petitioner seeks bail in Kursela P.S. Case No.137 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police on secret inputs intercepted a car bearing registration no.BR-38E-5427. The petitioner was sitting inside the car and on search, 45 litres of foreign liquor was recovered. On disclosure of the petitioner, a thatched house of Bikash Mandal was also searched and 248.625 litres of foreign liquor was recovered. The petitioner is in jail since 07.08.2020. The petitioner has already remained in jail for five months. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with
