ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 23-06-2026 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the counsels.

2. The only prayer sought in the present writ petition by the petitioner is disposal of his objections filed against the provisional merit list prepared by the District Level Selection Committee (DLS).

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed his objections under provisional list wherein the respondent No. 8 is shown at Sl. No. 1.

Patna High Court CWJC No.8460 of 2026(2) dt.23-06-2026 2/2 Learned counsel submits that before the preparation of the final merit list, the authorities may be directed to consider the objections filed by the petitioner.

Having regard to the above made submission, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 4 (i.e., the District Magistrate, Madhubani) who is the Chairman of the DLSC to consider the objections filed by the petitioner against the provisional merit list dated 22.01.2026 published by the SubDivisional Officer, Phulparas, Madhubani (i.e., the respondent No. 5 herein) before the publication of the final merit list, if it has not been published so far. The authority shall endeavor to consider the said objections as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order duly putting all parties on notice including the respondent No. 8 herein and thereafter, prepare the final list. Any decision taken by the respondent-authority shall be communicated to the parties.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
