It is submitted on behalf of parties that during pendency of writ petition final order of confiscation has been passed by the Confiscating Authority as such present writ petition for release of seized vehicle during pendency of confiscation proceeding has become infructuous. The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to avail the statutory remedy of appeal against the order passed by the Confiscating Authority and if any such appeal is filed by the petitioner, the delay in filing appeal may be condoned as the matter remain pending before this Court and Appellate Authority shall decide the appeal on merit within 30 days from the date of filing of such appeal.
