2. By filing the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a direction upon the respondents concerned to make payment of arrear of salary for the period from 27.07.1998 to December 2015 to the petitioner, which has been calculated by the College, and sent to the University and which has also been certified by the Pay Verification Cell,

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

4. The petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation before the Registrar, Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University, Madhepura (respondent no. 7) along with all supporting documents within a period of two weeks and the respondent no.7 is well advised to consider the case of the petitioner after affording opportunity of personal hearing or through his counsel and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within eight weeks thereafter.

5. It is made clear that respondent no.7 shall be liable for non-compliance of this order within the stipulated period.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
