JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-07-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That the present writ application is being filed on behalf of the above named petitioners, to carry out the revisional survey operation in the district of Begusarai, particularly in the Matihani Circle, following the procedures as contemplated under Section 5 of the Bihar Special Survey and Settlement Act, 2011 and also to consider the objection filed by the petitioners before the respondents."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Settlement Officer, Begusarai, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for
Patna High Court CWJC No.9454 of 2024(2) dt.29-07-2024 3/3 the petitioners submits that before making any change in the Khatiyan pertaining to the nature of the land in question, the respondents be directed to first issue notice. It is needless to state that the respondents shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
