The petitioner seeks bail in Sirdalla (Meskaur) P.S. Case no. 240/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code and 25(1-b), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The informant alleged that he got information that Naxalites demanded extortion but he did not go there, as there was no force. On the next day when the informant went there, the petitioner was holding a meeting with other companions. The petitioner managed to flee away after throwing rifles in a paddy field. It is submitted that nobody came forward to identify the petitioner. Nobody has stated in the entire case that the petitioner demanded any extortion.
