The petitioner had claimed an enhancement in pay scale which was earlier denied to him on the ground of non-passing of Hindi Noting and Drafting Examination. That issue has already been decided by the Court earlier in the writ petition. Still it seems that petitioner's late husband's pay scale was not revised, hence the writ petition.

The counter affidavit has been brought on record in which it is clearly averred that the pay scale of the husband of the writ petitioner, who after retirement had died, had been revised.

Patna High Court CWJC No.14120 of 2014 dt.17-09-2016 The petitioner's pay scale was increased from Rs.5,500/- to Rs.6,725/-. From Annexure-A to the counter affidavit, it appears that same has already been done and as per the pleadings in the counter affidavit payments also have been made.

In that view of the matter, this writ petition stands disposed of.
