2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 14.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55333 of 2023.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail on 14.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55333 of 2023 with a direction to surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.43503 of 2024(2) dt.21-06-2024 2/2 concerned, Chapra (Saran) in connection with Saran Mahila P.S. Case No. 71 of 2022. Learned counsel has further submitted that the petitioner is an employee of Railways Department on the post of technical and he is posted in Odissa State and Railway Department has not grant leave for this made online representation as on 15.04.2024 to 20.04.2024 of six days. This representation was rejected on the same day, due to which, the petitioner could not surrender and execute the bail bond before the Court below within the stipulated time.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bonds of the petitioner.
5. In view of the matter, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 14.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55333 of 2023 be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
6. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 14.03.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 55333 of 2023 is modified to the above extent.
