Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Piprakothi P.S. Case No. 297 of 2019 lodged under Sections 341, 307, 326, 120B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860(I.P.C.) and 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, there is a direct allegation against the present petitioner to make gunfire upon the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 28.06.2021, charge sheet has already been filed.

In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner therefore his bail application is rejected. Speedy trial is the constitutional vision of justice. Admittedly, there are in total 23 criminal cases (including the present one) pending against the petitioner which belongs to the District and Sessions Judge, East Champaran which are as follows:
