2.The present petition has been preferred for the following relief/s:
(i) to issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents authorities to digitalize the Jamabandi no. 12 with respect of land the details of which mentioned in para no. 4 of the writ application, that has been running in the name of father of the petitioner namely Raktu Yadav since long back
Patna High Court CWJC No.9829 of 2025(2) dt.26-06-2025 2/3 and rent receipts also been issued till 2011-12, so that the petitioner can further pay the land rent and receive the rent receipts with respect to said jamabandi no. 12;
(ii) a writ in the nature of Mandamus for commanding the respondents to reconstruct the records of Jamabandi Register-II regarding Jamabandi no.
12 as per order dated 28.08.2024 passed by the D.C.L.R. Benipur, (Annexure P/8) whereby the D.C.L.R noted that the matter relates to rewriting of destroyed jamabandi and forwarded the records to Additional Collector, Darbhanga, but no further action has been taken till date;
(iii) any other relief or reliefs to which petitioners are entitled in the opinion of this Hon'ble High Court in the facts and circumstances of the case.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a
Patna High Court CWJC No.9829 of 2025(2) dt.26-06-2025 3/3 perusal of the record of the learned Deputy Collector Land Reforms, Benipur dated 28.08.2024 would show that the document relating to the aforesaid land was destroyed and as such on the recommendation of the Circle Officer, Benipur, which has been sent to the Additional Collector, Darbhanga for necessary order.
4. The genuine difficulty have been shown by the Revenue Officials and they have taken steps in the matter. However, fully important is the cause of the petitioner that a decision has to be taken on the prayer of the petitioner at an earliest.
5. In that background, with the consent of the parties, the respondent no.3, the Additional Collector, Darbhanga is directed to look into the matter at an earliest and still not decided, the same has to be taken to its logical conclusion after hearing all the necessary parties within a period of four months from the date, the petitioner presents a copy of this order.
6. The writ petition is disposed of.
