2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 472 and 473 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner sold the land of the informant's mother to co-accused Sulekha Devi by impersonating another woman in place of his mother.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had assured the mother of the informant that he would sell her land at a proper price but the informant subsequently got to know that the land had already been sold to one Sulekha Devi by impersonating another woman in place of his mother and it was this petitioner and one other

It has been submitted that the petitioner has no concern with the alleged execution of the sale deed in question and has not derived any benefit from the same. Petitioner is neither the executant nor the purchaser on the alleged sale deed. It is further submitted that the case is based on the documentary evidence, as such, no further custodial interrogation would be required as the chargesheet has already been submitted. The petitioner further undertakes to cooperate in the trial by appearing on each and every date. The petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2026.

5. Learned APP for the State opposed the grant of bail on the ground that the petitioner has four criminal antecedents of similar nature. However, in response it has been submitted that the petitioner is on bail in all the other cases.

6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances and also considering the fact that the petitioner is neither the executant nor the purchaser of the said plot of land and charge-sheet has been submitted, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nalanda at Biharsharif/concerned Court below in

Case No. 19 of 2018 subject to condition that:- (i) One of the bailors will be his own blood relative, preferably, father, mother, brother, sister. (ii) The petitioner shall remain physically present in court on each and every date during trial and in the event of failure on single date without sufficient reasons, his bail bonds shall be liable to be cancelled by the learned court concerned.
