The petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction upon the respondents to take steps for removal of encroachment made over the public land in view of the orders dated 20.04.2017 and 08.09.2017 passed by the Sub-Divisional Public Grievances Redressal Officer, Dumraon, Buxar by which the Circle Officer was directed to remove encroachment from the public land.

The petitioner had filed a detailed application before the Collector, Buxar (respondent no. 1) on 17.01.2018. The said

Patna High Court CWJC No.3761 of 2018(3) dt.07-03-2019 2/2 application was enclosed with all relevant documents but no order has been passed till date.

Considering the above, the Collector, Buxar (Respondent No. 1) is directed to look into the application of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four months after giving opportunity to all the concerned parties and complying with the provisions as laid down under different sections of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
