The petitioners seek bail in connection with Palasi P.S. Case No. 160 of 2020, dated 14.05.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 341, 323, 324, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner No. 1 is said to have assaulted one

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33421 of 2020(2) dt.14-12-2020 2/2 Shahjad Kaisar on his head, but aforesaid Shahjad Kaisar has received grievous injury only in his middle finger. Petitioner No. 2 is said to have hurled a garansa blow on one Md. Alam on his head, but aforesaid Md. Alam is reported to have received simple injuries.

The petitioners are in custody since 19.06.2020. There is a counter version of occurrence as well in which persons from the side of the petitioners have also been injured.

Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, especially the period of custody of the petitioners and they are being persons of clean antecedents, they are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Palasi P.S. Case No. 160 of 2020.
