2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with L.N.M.U. P.S. Case No. 187 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 314, 316 and 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the deceased was the second wife of the petitioner and the petitioner had kept her at a rented house. She was killed for demand of dowry.

4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has not got married to the deceased and the deceased was not his wife. She was staying alone with her child in a house. The petitioner is in custody since

5. In the trial, out of seven charge-sheeted witnesses three charge-sheeted witnesses have been examined.

6. Considering the allegations and the fact that the trial has commenced and three witnesses have already been examined, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application stands dismissed.

8. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail if the prosecution delays the trial.
