Petitioner happens to be husband of the deceased who died within one year of her marriage in other than normal circumstance. In post mortem examination, cause of death of the deceased was found as asphyxia due to ligature strangulation.

There is allegation of illegal demand as well as torturing against the petitioner and after investigation, police found accusation true and, therefore, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Sessions Trial no. 442/2014 corresponding to LNMU P.S. Case no. 114/2014 pending in the court of Addl. Sessions Judge II, Darbhanga stands rejected, at least, at this stage.
