The prayer is for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction commanding upon the respondents for remeasurement of height of the petitioner who having height 155 C.M. and thereafter left Physical Eligibility Test (Hereinafter referred as to PET) be completed and thereafter the name of the petitioner be added in the list of successful candidates for her selection on the post of Constable in District Police, Bihar Military Police and other units of police under Advertisement No.1/2017.
A counter affidavit on behalf of the Central Selection Board of Constable is on record and paragraph-12 read as follows:
Patna High Court CWJC No.5903 of 2018(3) dt.27-09-2023 2/2 " That it is stated that the petitioner on 16.3.2018 appeared in the physical evaluation test. In fact during, physical Evaluation Test, her height was found 153.2 cm which was less than minimum height of 155 cm required for a Constable for all categories of women. The petitioner was declared disqualified. It is relevant to state here that the height of the candidates was measured by Electronic Height Measuring Stand".
In that view of the matter, no case is made out. This Court can only extend good wishes to the petitioner for her future endevours.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
