2. The petitioner seeks bail, who is in custody since 26.06.2022 in connection with S.T. No.921 of 2022 arising out of Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 165 of 2022, F.I.R. dated 25.06.2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that informant's daughter Shobha Devi was married to Ravi Tanti years back. She had also four children. After marriage, the petitioner assaulted her daughter for demand of Rs. One Lakh and one motorcycle. On 23.06.2022, in the night, Ravi Tanti killed her daughter by strangulating with a Chhura.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has clean antecedent. He has falsely been implicated in the present case merely on the ground that the petitioner is husband of the deceased. Further submits that it appears from the FIR that the date of occurrence as alleged in the FIR is 23.06.2022 but the present FIR has been instituted on 25.06.2022.
5. Vide order dated 05.07.2023, a report was called for with regard to the present stage of the trial. Report of the learned Trial Court dated 20.07.2023 reveals that the charge was framed against the petitioner on 18.11.2022 and out of seven chargesheet witnesses, two witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution and the case is pending for the examination of the rest of the prosecution witnesses.
6. Learned APP for the State, on the other hand, has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
7. Considering the report of the learned Trial Court that the trial is going on, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with S.T. No.921 of 2022 arising out of Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 165 of 2022 pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Begusarai.

8. Prayer is refused.
9. However, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest. (Rajesh Kumar Verma, J) Nitesh/- U T
