The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Sour Bazar P.S. Case No. 134 of 2013 registered under Section 385 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner made a ransom call to the informant, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
