2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- (i) to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground whose father died in harness during the service period due to heart attack on 19.12.2016;
(ii) to direct the respondents authority to take final decision for appointment on compassionate ground
Patna High Court CWJC No.2373 of 2018(4) dt.18-09-2023 2/2 in view of fully dependent upon her father.
3. A counter affidavit on behalf of the respondent nos. 4 and 5 duly having been served to the petitioner was filed in the month of March, 2018.
4. As per it, vide resolution no. 105/25/2016 it was incorporated that those working under corporation, there is no scheme for extension of compassionate appointment to the onward and accordingly, the claim was rejected.
5. 5 1⁄2 years later though no rejoinder is there, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice that he is given liberty to take appropriate steps as stand of the respondent is that the claim has been rejected.
