On 24.10.2016, on prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned for three weeks to enable him to file rejoinder to the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the State. The same has also not been done. Today, prayer is made for time. Though the Court finds the same

In view of the aforesaid, and taking into account the fact that even till today, no rejoinder has been filed and nobody appears on behalf of the petitioner also, the Court can only presume that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the writ application stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
