The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 04.10.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30466 of 2016 by which the petitioner was granted provisional bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 197 of 2015, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger, under Sections 409, 420, 467 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code, on the submission that he is ready to deposit an amount of Rs. One lac in the court below, subject to final disposal of the case. It is prayed on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner that out of the said amount, the petitioner has already deposited Rs. 50,000/-. The petitioner seeks further period of two
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4425 of 2017 (2) dt.08-02-2017 2/2 weeks so that he could deposit the balance amount in the court below.
Considering the submissions made on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner and the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner is extended by further period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of copy of the order. The order dated 04.10.2016 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 30466 of 2016, is modified to the extent as indicated above. The modification application is, accordingly, disposed of.
