The petitioner prays for the benefits of the 6th Pay Revision Committee with effect from 1.1.2006.

The petitioner is an ex-employee of the Bihar State Handloom and Handicrafts Limited, a Government of Bihar undertaking which has gone under liquidation and presently the matter is pending before the National Company Law Tribunal at Kolkata. Where the Corporation itself is facing liquidation, the claim, if any, has to be raised before the appropriate forum and not in a writ proceedings.
