1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Learned A.P.P. for the State, at the outset, submits that the FIR is dated 25.12.1997 and the petitioner is in custody since 02.03.2026 which amply demonstrates that petitioner for the last 30 years was absconding, it is also submitted that if privilege of regular bail is granted, the petitioner may abscond.

3. On query of the Court from learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that as to whether the charges against the petitioner has been framed or not, on which the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner fairly submitted that charges have not been framed.

4. The Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, however, petitioner would be at liberty to renew his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42683 of 2026(2) dt.10-07-2026 2/2 prayer for bail after framing of charge.
