Petitioner is husband of the informant and is languishing in jail custody since 26-07-2015 in a case registered under Sections-498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. No specific overt act has been attributed against the petitioner and moreover, learned counsel for the petitioner drew my attention towards Annexure-2 to this petition and submits that during pendency of Anticipatory Bail Petition No. 1858 of 2015, the parties had already compromised the case.
