The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 7.5.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 6899 of 2015 with a direction that the trial should be concluded within four months. It is submitted that four months have already elapsed but the trial has not been concluded.

Learned counsel for the informant submits that only two doctors are to be examined. The prosecution has already examined all the material witnesses on the last date, i.e., 28.11.2015. The doctor could not be examined only because the Presiding Officer was on leave. The next date is 7.12.2015.

No.45244 of 2015 (3) dt.02-12-2015 P2/2 Considering the facts that the trial is likely to be concluded very soon, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Dighwara P.S. Case No. 154/2014. Accordingly, the same is rejected with the direction to the trial court to conclude the trial within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order holding the trial on day-to-day basis.
