The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 498A and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and under section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The petitioner was married with Sulekha Devi, the informant, 13 years ago but the wife of the petitioner made allegation that the petitioner subjected her to mental and physical torture. The petitioner is in jail since 01.07.2015. Considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Lalan Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st class, Jamui in Chakai P.S. Case No. 46 of 2014.
